Shanti Suki Osman

Artist / Educator

Shanti Suki is a singer, curator and educator in Berlin. With Late Nights In Squat Bars she writes and sings postcolonial feminist electro-pop with Dafne Della Dafne, and curates festivals and group art shows. She is part of the London / Berlin based electronic synth pop duo Coyer Koya who released their debut EP Ease Tension in July 2016. In her monthly radio show Hidden Stories on Colaboradio, she tells stories about activism, histories, politics and art from various corners of this besieged world, weaving in songs and sounds as part of the narrative. Shanti Suki is currently working on the autobiographical performance series and accompanying research project Skewed, looking at self-fetishization and women* artists of colour. An initial version of Skewed was performed at Reflektor Festival 2016
